Iwaki Walchem Mag Drive Pumps
FORCE Engineered Products is proud to offer Iwaki Walchem pumps, the highest value, seal-less, non-metallic mag-drive pumps for your chemical process applications. Iwaki Walchem pumps are manufactured solely with non-metallic wetted parts to resist chemical attack and ensure your process purity. These pumps range in size to easily handle all of your application needs, from OEM and point of use applications, through bulk transfer.
MD, WMD, WMDX
MD, WMD Series |
The MD, WMD, and WMDX series are centrifugal, non-metallic mag-drive pumps in polypropylene or ETFE construction. Both AC and DC voltages are available with flows to about 30 GPM and heads to 66 ft.
These pumps feature unique internal cooling circuit which allows cooling circuit liquid to continually wash front and rear radial bearings, extending bearing life and high lubricity fluoropolymer bearings to minimize mechanical losses typical of conventional mag-drive pumps.

MDH, MDH-F
MDH-F Series |
These centrifugal, non-metallic, mag-drive pumps are available in polypropylene or ETFE construction, dry run capable and self priming flow to 150 GPM, heads to 100 ft TDH. The most amazing feature of these pumps is the Patented Pinpoint Bearing System, which makes these pumps truly dry run capable. With the new pinpoint bearing system, conventional rear thrust surfaces have been designed-out. During cavitation or dry run, rear thrust is balanced on the impeller-mounted pinpoint bearing. Frictional contact is thereby virtually eliminated. Heat generation, typical of other seal-less pumps, is reduced exponentially.
Traditional magnetic drive pumps have always been subject to catastrophic failure as a result of dry run or episodic cavitation. Liquid/air flow across bearing surfaces shuts down under adversity. Now, our new pinpoint bearing leaves the internal cooling circuit wide open. The magnet capsule is, in all cases, prevented from any contact with the rear casing.
